For fans of all things Minecraft, MineCon begins tomorrow November 18 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada! MineCon celebrates the official full release of Minecraft. In Minecraft you can create anything you want using blocks. It is an open world game and while being encouraged to create, monsters spawn at night and players must defend themselves. Minecraft is finally coming out of beta and will see a full release on November 18.
IGN.com will be at hand to supply fans with a stream of the event here. Developer Notch will deliver a keynote speech, and there will be plenty of panels and events for fans. IGN will be covering the following:
Friday, 11/18
1 - 2:30 p.m. Notch Keynote and Minecraft Launch
4 - 5 p.m. Mojang Panel: Scrolls and Cobalt Demos
Saturday, 11/19
11:15 - 12:15 p.m. Mojang Developers' Panel
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Yogscast Panel
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Closing Session
